Barbara told us she selected this site because of the signage and the forms of the commercial storefronts. She selected it for publication in an article about the on-site sketch tour.  That was kind of her to do so.

While we were in the Caribbean, I wrote to Barbara and included photos. It was easier being digital. I did the same with my mother, sending her photos and art work.  I had hoped that when my husband and I returned to the states, that we would connect with Barbara. That did not happen, at least not on the physical plane. Barbara was diagnosed with Alzheimers and died in 2013. My husband died in 2015.
